How FIKR Space
uses cookies.

Last updated: 6 July 2026. This policy explains how FIKR Space uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, forms, newsletter, scorecards and assessments, and how you can manage your choices.

01 · WHAT COOKIES ARE

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site's operators.

We also use similar technologies that behave like cookies — for example, local storage, pixels and software development kits embedded in third-party media. In this policy, references to 'cookies' include these technologies unless we say otherwise.

Cookies may be session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them. They may be set by us ('first-party') or by a third party whose service appears on our pages ('third-party').

02 · WHY WE USE COOKIES

Why we use cookies

We use cookies to make the Platform function correctly and securely, to remember choices you make such as language or display preferences, and to understand how visitors use the Platform so that we can improve it.

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to serve targeted advertising, and we do not use advertising cookies unless we state otherwise in this policy and obtain your consent.

03 · CATEGORIES WE USE

Categories of cookies we use

(a) Strictly necessary cookies are required for the Platform to work. They enable core functions such as navigation, session management, security and the correct submission of our forms. Because the Platform cannot function properly without them, they do not require your consent and cannot be switched off through our consent tools.

(b) Functional / preference cookies remember choices you make to give you a more personalised experience — for example, your language selection or interface preferences. If you do not allow these, some features may be less convenient, but the Platform will still work.

(c) Analytics / performance cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Platform, including which pages are viewed and how scorecards and assessments are used, usually in aggregated form. These are only set with your consent where required. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

04 · COOKIES WE SET

Cookies we set

The following list is illustrative and to be confirmed before launch. Exact cookie names, purposes and durations will be finalised and updated here following a cookie audit and legal review.

Strictly necessary: [cookie name] — [purpose, e.g. maintain session / security] — [duration].

Functional / preference: [cookie name] — [purpose, e.g. remember language] — [duration].

Analytics / performance: [cookie name] — [purpose, e.g. measure usage] — [duration].

05 · THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Third-party cookies

We do not use third-party analytics services. Any usage measurement is performed in-house using first-party data, and we do not share it with external analytics providers.

Some pages may include embedded content such as videos hosted by third parties. When you view a page containing such content, the provider may set cookies on your device. These cookies are controlled by the third party, not by us.

We do not control third-party cookies. Please review the relevant provider's own cookie and privacy notices for details. We list the specific providers in our Privacy Policy.

06 · MANAGING YOUR CHOICES

Managing your choices

Consent banner. Where the law requires your consent — for functional, analytics and any third-party cookies — we ask for it through a consent banner when you first visit the Platform. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies and change your choice at any time.

Withdrawing consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time using our cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working. Guidance is usually available in your browser's help menu.

07 · DO NOT TRACK

Do Not Track signals

'Do Not Track' (DNT) is a setting some browsers offer to signal that you do not wish to be tracked. There is currently no common industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, and we do not respond to them at this time.

We instead rely on our consent banner and the controls described above to manage your preferences.

08 · CHANGES

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. We will post the updated version here and revise the 'Last updated' date at the top. Where changes are significant, we may provide additional notice.
