Last updated: 6 July 2026. How billing, payments, renewals, and refunds work for FIKR Space — read together with our Terms of Service.
Scope
This Policy applies to all paid subscription plans and to metered, usage-based charges on FIKR Space (the 'Services'), operated from Tallinn, Estonia by LG Ventures OÜ ('we', 'us'). It does not apply to our free core tools, which are provided at no charge.
This Policy is part of the Terms of Service. Where this Policy and the Terms conflict on billing matters, this Policy governs. FIKR Space is currently pre-launch, and by purchasing a paid plan or incurring metered usage you ('you') agree to this Policy.
Plans & pricing
FIKR Space offers free core tools at no charge, alongside paid subscription plans. Certain AI features run on a metered 'Managed AI' plan, billed by usage, and some features may carry pay-as-you-go usage charges. Current plan names and prices are shown on the Pricing page — we do not restate specific amounts here.
Where you use AI features under a bring-your-own-key ('BYOK') arrangement, you supply your own third-party AI provider API key and pay that provider directly for your usage. We do not bill, mark up, or collect those amounts, and they fall outside this Policy. Amounts billed by us relate only to your FIKR Space subscription and any Managed AI or pay-as-you-go usage on the Services.
Billing & payment
Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, Stripe. Charges are billed in EUR.
By subscribing to a paid plan or enabling metered usage, you authorise us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis for subscription fees and for any usage charges as they are incurred, until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping your payment details valid and up to date. Invoices or receipts are made available for each charge.
Taxes & VAT
Prices shown may exclude value added tax (VAT) and other applicable taxes or duties. Where required, these are calculated and added based on your billing location and tax status at the time of the charge. You are responsible for any taxes not collected by us or Stripe.
Auto-renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. Where required by applicable law, we will provide advance notice of an upcoming renewal.
You can cancel at any time before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period — see Section 09.
Your EU right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving any reason.
Because the Services are digital content and digital services supplied online, an important exception applies. If you request that we begin providing a paid Service immediately — before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period — and you expressly acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once performance has begun, then you lose that right for the part of the Service already supplied, and a refund may not be available.
Where performance has only partly begun, any refund is assessed on that basis. This Section does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law.
Refund eligibility & how to request one
To request a refund, email billing@fikr.space with your account details and the charge in question.
Outside your statutory rights and the withdrawal right described in Section 06, refunds are provided at our discretion — for example, as a goodwill gesture. Any goodwill refund we grant is not a waiver of this Policy and does not create an entitlement to further refunds. Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer, which remain unaffected.
Metered & usage-based charges
Managed AI and any pay-as-you-go charges are consumed as you use the Services and are calculated on your actual usage. Because these amounts reflect resources already delivered, they are generally non-refundable once incurred, except where a refund is required by law or where the charge resulted from our error.
BYOK usage is paid by you directly to your AI provider and is never billed by us (see Section 02).
Cancellations & downgrades
You can cancel or downgrade a paid subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@fikr.space. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan generally remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which it ends or reverts to the free core tools.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise. We do not provide partial-period or pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a billing period unless required by law.
Failed payments & suspension
If a payment fails, we or Stripe may retry the charge. We may notify you and ask you to update your payment method.
If a charge remains unpaid, we may suspend or limit access to paid features, and ultimately downgrade or terminate the paid plan, without waiving the amounts owed. We will act reasonably and give notice where required by law.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at billing@fikr.space so we can resolve it quickly. Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
We reserve the right to contest chargebacks we believe to be unwarranted, and to recover amounts properly owed.
Changes to pricing
We may change our plans, prices, or usage rates. Where a change affects a plan you subscribe to, we will provide advance notice and the change will take effect from your next billing cycle. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect. Current prices are always shown on the Pricing page.
